Lakeside Historic Chapel
Founded in 1947, the Lakeside Community Chapel has been a cornerstone of faith and community in Lakeside, Montana. Originally meeting in the Old Red School House, the congregation moved into its current sanctuary in 1950, located at Adams Street and Highway 93.

Over the years, the chapel has hosted countless community events and celebrations. In recent years, it has undergone restorations, including the preservation of its historic bell and belfry in 2020 and the unveiling of original wood paneling in 2023.

Today, the chapel remains an integral part of the Lakeside community, offering Sunday services and events, and continuing to stand as a beloved symbol of the town’s rich history and enduring spirit.

The original wood paneling and floor joists discovered during renovations in 2023 were made from old-growth timber, showcasing the high-quality materials used in its construction.
